Continuing its successful collaboration with Hines and Henderson Park, VITAEL completed the construction of the InterContinental Crete hotel in June 2024, located in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. This project, the first hotel of the renowned international hospitality chain on the island of Crete, marks yet another successful venture for the company in the hospitality sector. With a focus on high aesthetics combined with the unparalleled level of service and customer care offered by the globally renowned InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (IHG Hotels & Resorts), VITAEL transformed the existing building into a 5-star hotel in just 13 months. It extends over 10 levels on an area of 15,000 sq m and has 199 rooms including 21 suites with the majority of rooms having a private pool and unobstructed view of Mirabello Bay. It also includes a central atrium, three restaurants – on the ground floor, 5th and 9th floors, a spa/hammam area with a large indoor pool, a gym, two large communal infinity pools and two conference rooms.
